Aug 28, 2026Hidden gem on best part of 7-mile beach
Our unit was just as advertised. Clean, comfortable, well kept. I had stayed on this property more than 20 years ago and with the renovations it greatly exceeded my expectations. The staff was helpful and the vibe there is very positive. If you are familiar with 7-mile beach you know that this is a prime location. They have not suffered the beach erosion that has decimated the beachfront on properties farther south, closer to Georgetown. Only minor criticism is there was no wall safe in the condo. It appears to have been removed. Our stay was terrific.

Wonderful stay at Villas of the Galleon
Very clean and well stocked Villa, amazing beach, great location for restaurants and activities. It is our second time and we will definitely be back. You really feel at home. The beach alone is worth the trip but the villas make the stay comfortable and relaxed. Grand Cayman is so safe and all places have the same standards as the US, people are welcoming and nice, it is well worth the visit

Great property, just be prepared to be frustrated around people saving beach spots....
I've been staying at the Villas for almost 40 years and it has consistently been a wonderful place and ideal location. The only issue I've had recently is the difficulty in securing a beach umbrella, as the property does not enforce the 2 hour guideline around leaving towels to "save" your spot. This is very frustrating and the management needs to follow their own guidelines. Other than that, this is a great location and great property.

Perfect Amenities for Family Vacation
In July 2026 our extended family of 13 (which included two grandparents and 2 families with 4 adults and 7 kids ranging in age from 4-18) stayed at the Villas of the Galleon and it was perfect. The adults stayed here a few years ago for a wedding and could not wait to bring the kids back. We rented two 3-bedroom condos both of which were very clean and fully stocked with everything from kitchen utensils to board games, books and beach toys. The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy. The area is very safe with multiple restaurants (Tillie's, Sunshine Grill, Bonny Moon Beach Club, Legendz, Yoshi Sushi just to name a few) and a grocery store within walking distance. The beach is pristine and there are no shortage of beach chairs and umbrellas. Can't wait to go back!!

Amazing
It was fantastic! Everything was perfect! The villa was clean and perfect size for our family. We have a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters. We really enjoyed the laid back and relaxing feel of Villa of Galleon. It was the perfect vibe for us.
