  Let me start by saying the beach and the pool are really clean, room service was really good, they changed towels every day, we checked in on Sunday 23 of August, Ac was working fine, Monday we start feeling a bit hot at night we thought it was normal since we were at the sun almost the whole day, cones Tuesday the room is very hot, we couldn't breath, we are two adults and two kids, at night we couldn't sleep, I stayed up until 4am, I only slept because I was so tired and I couldn't stay up, we called them, they came and they said it was fixed, Wednesday was OK, Thursday again the room is hot, we called them again, and asked if it is an issue to fix the AC fast we do not mind changing rooms, they said no we will fixe it, they came and they made us feel like we do not know how AC works, they said it is working just fine and just to give it some time, today Friday again no AC, only the fan is working, I called again and they said they will see what to do, it is a joke, to bad we liked the place but to stay 7 days with no AC it is big NO, never again

  Not Quite the Resort Experience I Expected

  The resort is quite small, with only one main pool. A swim-up bar would have been a great addition and would have made relaxing by the pool much more enjoyable. The main lounge area is quite small and lacks the inviting, relaxing atmosphere I’ve experienced at other resorts. I was disappointed by the limited seating and the lack of comfortable lounge chairs where guests could truly relax. The beach, however, is beautiful, and you can easily walk along the shoreline into town, where there are plenty of restaurants. You may want to take advantage of them, because unfortunately, the food at the resort was very disappointing. I have stayed at at least eight resorts, and I would have to say the food here was the worst I have experienced. The desserts were particularly disappointing. I didn’t enjoy a single one, as they all seemed to have a strange taste and almost a chemical-like smell. This was consistent across all of the desserts I tried. The entertainment was similar to what you find at most all-inclusive resorts. There was nothing particularly creative or unique, and the activities and themes felt quite repetitive. Overall, the beautiful beach and convenient access to town were definite highlights, but the food quality, limited pool area, and lack of a lively atmosphere took away from the overall experience.

  Paradise Not Found

  I had mixed feelings about Viva Tangerine by Wyndham resort. The ground were beautiful and well maintained and clean. The beach was beautiful, as long you didn't get harassed by vendors every 2 minutes bothering you while you tried to relax and sleep listening to the waves, no thank you mean no thank you. The staff at Viva was no different in their approach to sell earthing from a Time Share ( Vacation Club) to photos. I wanted to relax at the resort and not get a sales pitch every single minute of the day. The food was not the best, nor was it a true representation of the local cuisine! Serval food items tasted like mold, specifically the Flan and the Tiramisu!! This resort needs someone to fix their walk in box and or the refrigerators these deserts are kept in. The wine is the worst wine I have ever tasted. I get it they want yout you to spend money for better wine, but come on. If you are a coffee lover there are better options off property!!! My sister in law's room their lock failed over and over again. Their A.C. failed several times to point they had to switch rooms. There was lots of entertainment that made us laugh and smile.

  YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

  We really liked the beach and pool and that's about it!!!! FOOD - Horrible is an understatement. Terrible selection and quality of food was below standards. They didn't have much of a selection for kids either, unless you know of any children that like eating goat meat. Entertainment, what a joke. They have a room on 3rd floor which is enclosed and smells to do their evening shows. Cabrete area is actually very nice, I would recommend this area not this hotel.

  Friendsa trips

  Jorday was viva was awesome fantastic. He gave a lot of information. Even went as far as getting depart information that are sunwing rep wasn’t available. He was always available.
