  We loved W Algarve

  The hotel is genuinely beautiful, with a strong Algarvian feel, a lovely heated outdoor hot tub, and a natural beach right within the grounds, surrounded by greenery. I’ve stayed at several W Hotels around the world, and this one really stands out for its setting. A special thank you to Diogo at reception :such lovely energy and a genuinely warm welcome, especially while celebrating my partner’s birthday. Another big thank you to Diogo from Matosinhos for the great chats and friendly presence throughout our stay. The international W Lounge team (PT, BR, NL) were fantastic: great vibes, excellent service, and always welcoming. Júlio at breakfast was an absolute highlight professional funny, warm, and full of energy. He made every morning better, and the breakfast itself was very good, with plenty of choice and great quality. Housekeeping was inconsistent (Coffee,bathrobe weren’t always replaced, and we only had 2 turndown service during our week-long stay, which was unusual for a W. That said, whenever we asked for anything, the team responded quickly and kindly.Overall, the staff truly made the stay, and we left with a very positive impression of W Algarve.

  Never disappoints

  Even though we visited during the low season, the staff were exceptionally attentive and truly went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. I can’t emphasize enough how much the team elevates the overall hotel experience and ambiance. A heartfelt thank you to Carla, Diogo(s), Ana, Yohann, Tamisa, Ariana, Eliana, Mica, Miguel, João, Steven, Evelyn, Pablo, Teddy, Ustav, Leah, Jon, Beatriz, and many others who made our stay so special.   A wonderful experience at the W Algarve!

  My husband and I just spent three wonderful days at the W Algarve resort. We were absolutely blown away by the level of service and hospitality they provided. Each and every staff member went above and beyond to be helpful, friendly and welcoming. As a Bonvoy platinum member, we were upgraded to a lovely and spacious suite. To our delight, the staff had written a special welcome note on the glass door overlooking the ocean. Then at check out the staff provided a goodbye gift. I was touched by the level of care and attention. Will definitely return!

  Nice W

  There may of been like 20 rooms rented while we were there in off season. Was nice to be so quiet but also little depressing. The room, grounds, pool, staff, etc were all top notch like you expect at a W.

  We were spoiled!

  The W Algarve is one of the most gorgeous, stunning hotels we ever had the pleasure of staying at. The architecture is so unique. Both inside and outside, the hotel is designed in such a way that it seems to fit naturally into the landscape of South Portugal. My husband and I stayed at the W Algarve for 5 days at the end of October. We were blessed to have warm, sunny weather at this time. Most of the crowds had dispersed the Algarve by then. The region around Albufeira seemed so chill and laidback and not crowded at all.. The W Algarve was probably only about a quarter full at the most by the time of our stay. The pool area was immaculately clean. While the water was cool, the pool was acclimatizing so it was comfortable for a swim. The giant hot tub was perfectly warm and great for relaxing in. We were spoiled because there were hardly any other guests around. I can only imagine how packed and noisy the pool area could be during peak season at the W Algarve. Our room was on the fourth floor. Again, it was extremely quiet and it often seemed like we were the only guests around. The room was beautifully appointed and had all of the accessories one would expect at a hotel of this quality. Housekeeping was discreet and did a fine job cleaning the room each day. The staff at the W Algarve was excellent, too. Top notch service and always willing to go the extra mile to please. I can't recall names except for Daan and Diogo. Both young men went above and beyond to provide us with outstanding service during our stay at the hotel. In fact, all the staff was top-notch. It seemed the ratio of staff to guests was 1:4 so again- we were spoiled with personal service! Thank you to everyone at the W Algarve for making our stay so special.
