Best Luxury in Cabo
Pedregal is by far the best service oriented hotel of the luxury hotel category in Cabo. Pedregal’s legendary hospitality is truly one of a kind. The service is in line with some of the best hotels we have experienced around the world. Everyone is assigned to their own concierge. Ours was Fabian. If you take advantage of the concierge service’s offered, you will experience an absolutely amazing vacation. Fabian took our luxury trip to a whole new level with his foresight to be one step ahead of everything we needed or wanted, from restaurant reservations to a private whale watching tour and recommendations for other experiences. However he was so much more than a concierge. He truly made us feel like we were visiting family and wanted to show us the culture and the best of Cabo. Free everyday! The breakfast buffet is the best we have ever experienced. It included fresh baked pastries, homemade tortillas and empanadas. it is similar to a Sunday brunch but everyday. With our room it was included and worth it!! Fresh guacamole & chips with 2 Corona’s on ice. Delivered to your room for sunset every afternoon. Sweets at turn town service. Best Chocolate ever! Many thanks to the service staff that changed our lives while we were at Pedregal. Fabian, Alberto, Erick, Ezekiel, Louis & Daniel. I know I have missed some names. Every staff person that we meet was amazing.

Incredible experience once again.
We recently stayed at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal again, and it’s still one of the most beautiful properties in Cabo. Driving through the private tunnel carved into the mountain never gets old, and the cliffside views over the Pacific are honestly hard to beat. The grounds are perfectly landscaped and immaculately maintained, which adds to the peaceful, upscale feel of the entire resort. Having a private plunge pool in every room makes the stay feel quiet and exclusive, and even when the resort is full it never feels busy or chaotic. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, and having a dedicated concierge really does make a difference in the overall experience. That said, we did notice a few small changes compared to last year. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash felt downgraded to a more basic brand. There’s also no longer a complimentary bottle of Clase Azul tequila in the room — it’s now offered for purchase at around $180 USD. Snacks and pop that used to be complimentary in the room are now priced quite high. Those little luxury touches used to add to the overall wow factor, so it was disappointing to see them removed. Overall, it’s still an incredible place to stay and one of the most memorable resorts we’ve ever stayed at. We will be back.

Unimpressed and Untrustworthy
Of all the Waldorf and Hilton properties I've stayed at, this is the first that did not even come close to meeting expectations. Completely Unimpressed and untrustworthy! My recent stay here was such a disappointment. The bottom line upfront is I believe the team here has gotten too comfortable with the fact that they have a property physically located in an amazing place. Absolutely everything besides the geography was a let down. To begin with the untrustworthy piece, I agree with many of the other poor reviews in that its extremely hard to trust the staff. We booked a room with a king bed and upon checking in we were told we were getting a room with two queens. We initially pushed back, but were promised the room with the two queens was on the ground floor with an unobstructed view of the ocean and was considered a generous upgrade given our Hilton status. Once the room was ready, we were escorted to the second floor with a room located behind another building with a 50% view of the ocean. When we questioned this, we of course were told everything else was sold out and no changes could be made. I don't believe everything else was spoken for and I don't believe there was "nothing they could do." Next, the fine details no true 5 star luxury hotel would miss.... This property boasts binoculars in every room, especially during prime whale watching season. Of course our big fancy upgraded room had none and we had to track some down. We also had to request a tea kettle four separate times (at check in, several hours later, at turn down, and at service the next day) before we actually got one. Not a 5 star service experience by far. Our room also had a hole in the ceiling that went straight to the outside. We were so thankful it never rained while we were there or it would have dripped all over one of the queen beds. The sidewalk light pouring in all night was equally annoying though. Now for the food... THANK GOODNESS this property is located within walking distance of many good restaurants in town because the food on side is not even a notch above an all inclusive cruise ship. Don't waste your money at El Farllon. The view yes is stunning but the food is the worst we had on our whole trip. We committed the biggest sin ever and asked for salt at the table because the food had NO FLAVOR! The other restaurants on property were equally as boring. Not even joking we ate Top Ramen in our room one day to hold us over until our dinner reservation at Romeo and Julieta (amazing food btw) over eating hotel food. The service was poor everywhere with the exception of the pool. At the coffee shop, I walked in one morning and there was one other customer in there. There were two men working behind the counter. They completely ignored me until one of them was done with the other customer. They they acted like I was an annoying bother for asking for a simple iced coffee. The wait staff at the pool side restaurant, breakfast, and El Farallon all seemed annoyed by our presence and we couldn't even get an orange juice without asking more than once. We also had expectations going into the trip that the Clase Azul amenity was still offered to guests and the staff gave zero care when we expressed how surprised and disappointed we were that currently there's a much lesser offering. They're probably tired of hearing guests complain about it, but they could tuck it in a bit and pretend to care... We also collect stuffed blushes from the other Waldorf properties and were hopeful we would be adding a whale to our collection from this property, but that is another request of ours that went unanswered this trip. For those looking at hotels in the area, I suggest looking into Hilton's Beach Resort. We stayed there in the days leading up to this property and I wish we had just stayed there....

Luxury!
We had a wonderful stay at Waldorf Astoria. We stayed in a stunning 2 BR ocean view villa with a plunge pool. We had Sunday brunch at the Beach Club with attentive service from Juan Perez. Breakfast at Don Manuel's was also wonderful.
