Good. Was better
As a well-traveled Hilton Diamond member, I had higher expectations for this stay. Despite clear availability, no upgrade was offered. The initial welcome was lackluster, and our assigned “personal concierge” interaction was brief and underwhelming. The gentleman who welcomed us spoke unclearly and mumbled throughout the explanation; we understood only parts of what he was saying. One point that did come through was his apparent assumption that our stay had been booked using points—an odd and misplaced comment, particularly given how poor Hilton point redemptions have become. For clarity, this stay was not booked on points, and the implication was both confusing and unnecessary. The room amenities and overall food quality were acceptable, though unremarkable. Notably, the branded soaps and shampoos we’ve come to expect from Hilton were replaced with an inferior product, which detracted from the experience. If not for the genuinely warm and attentive hospitality shown by nearly every other team member throughout the resort, this would have been a 3.5-star experience at best. The frontline staff across the property were excellent and clearly take pride in what they do. The front desk, however, fell short—particularly when engaging with a Diamond member. There is room for meaningful improvement in recognition, communication, and overall delivery at arrival.

40th anniversary celebration cherished by the staff.
Celebrating my 40th wedding anniversary was a dream of my husband and I. Waldorf Astoria exceeded our expectations. From the moment we step foot out of our car to the tearful goodbye, it was exquisite and just amazing. Every staff member was sweet and engaging. Jefferson, JP, Martin, Fernando as well as those we just ran into us were professional, sweet and most of all accommodating. The person who made our stay above and beyond our wildest dreams was Raquel. She upgraded us to a private villa where I and my husband could be in our own little paradise. No words can describe how grateful we are to this establishment. You made our celebration so much more special. Waldorf Astoria Pedgral, you have the best staff in the world. Each person in this establishment gives you 100%. Thank you for making us feel so special. This is now our place in Cabo. I am crying just writing this review. See you next for 41st anniversary ❤️

Magical Cabo Mexican upscale resort
This hotel is fabulous! We hired the car service from the hotel for pickup and drop off. It’s about 45 min from airport. Was upgraded to 2 bedroom suite. Kitchen had Viking stove and Subzero refrigerator!!! Granite countertops and wooden doors were marvelous. We had a private butler. Had dinner on the cliff side restaurant and before you enter you get a glass of champagne at the champagne terrace. They had several Infinity pools and hot tub. Highly recommend this resort!!!

The staff is the reason we keep coming back
This was our 17th stay, and somehow the resort continues to surprise us — it truly gets better every time. The recent renovations are gorgeous, but what sets this place apart is the people who make every visit feel special. A huge thank-you to Libia for leading such an incredible team. The pool staff — Carlos, Manny, Marcos, Panchi, Jim, and Jonathan — make every day effortless and fun. The spa remains unmatched; Claudia and Betty are phenomenal. At Don Manuel, Judith, Wendy, and Fernanda always take such wonderful care of us. Lenny and Daniel prepared the most memorable dinner in our casita on our last night. And I have to mention Mariel — she is exceptional in everything she does and, at this point, truly is part of our family.

Great Experience - Waldorf Astoria Los Cabo’s Pedregal
As soon as you arrive, you are greeted by the incredible team, especially Mariel. She ensures that everyone is having an enjoyable and relaxing visit in every way possible. Mariel is flexible and works extremely hard to make every possible adjustment and accommodation for each guest, doing so gracefully. We spent most days at the resort’s pool, where Carlos, Manuel, Marcos, Fernando, Jonathan, and Jim were attentive to every guest. The Waldorf’s restaurant, Don Manuel, offers a great menu and excellent hostesses and waiters. Judith, Wendy, and Fernanda were all especially kind. When we would travel outside of the resort, our group always requested Cesar as a driver - he is reliable, punctual, and friendly. I recommend booking a dinner with Chef Lenny. Alongside our waiter Daniel, they prepared a flavorful, well-rounded meal. Overall, the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal offers the most enjoyable experience. The incredible staff, beautiful landscape, and delicious food will always bring us back.
