Dolphin is always Great!
This a a great hotel! Love staying at the Dolphin. Always treated well by the associates, love the lobby area, great amenities, rooms are very comfortable, and a fantastic location near the Boardwalk. This trip we basically just hung out at the pool, which has a great grotto type pool area. Very beautiful with lots of trees, lots of lounge chairs, a water slide, a lap pool, food and beverage service, a sandy beach area, swan boats for rides, a DJ spinning great tunes, and just a great place to hang out in the Florida sunshine. Having spent probably 30-40 nights at the hotel since it opened, I highly recommend the Dolphin as an alternative to other Disney properties.

Got a great price.
Check in a breeze. I called the lady who checked us in Miss.Capricorn. She was great. Hotel was big and easy to find shops, restaurants, etc... The Fountain was 3.5. The Bluezoo was a 4. Amaretto My family ate there and loved it. My favorite Rosa Mexicano a 10 out of 10. Maid sevcie great. Got our room cleaned everyday.( except for the 1st day, came from 10 hours out at MK room wasn't clean. Next morning told the front desk we wanted our room cleaned everyday. It was after that.) Room was basic. I rate a 5. But we could watch the fireworks from our room. They gave us a cot. (complimentary) Now for transport from hotel to parks. MK and AK we were let out in the parking lot. Not a big deal. Took the monorail to the ticket booth. HWS and Epcot by boat. Which was nice. BUT if there is a thunderstorm it stops and they provide a bus. Now for the water parks. It tells you to go to Disney springs then transfer to the water park you want to go on. They drop you off at the public bus stop. We Waited then realized we had to go at the Disney pick up. Noone told us this. When coming back we took the boardwalk bus back. 5 minute walk to the Dolphin. If we would of known this we would of took the bus from the broadwalk to typhoon lagoon. This was easy. Pool area for the kids was great. 10 out of 10. We would not go back because of the transportation to the parks. Unless we were saving $500.00 or more on each person. We been to Disney 4 times and we know we perfer the Disney theme resorts. To each their own. Our 7 day vacation was wonderful. The transportation didn't effect our vacation just made it a little bit inconvenient. Transportation to typhoon lagoon was a big let down. But we still had a great time at the water park. When we booked it was the cheapest of all the Disney resorts. I couldn't believe the price. I thought we got lucky, and we were. Shortly after I booked the price was $800.00 more per person. I may have been disappointed if I paid regular price. But for the money we paid we were happy. Paid about $1200.00 Canadian flight and room. Couldn't beat that price

Best of Vacation
LOVE this location - hotel - staff, always professional every visit we make to Walt Disney World. Location is perfect for our family to enjoy boardwalk area - amenities offered s'mores at night around campfire - movies on beach - multiple pools to enjoy with chair seating easy access. Check in always easy with our Marriott Bonvoy express. We were earlier than normal moving from Universal Resort and they gave us a room on lobby level which was perfect - in and out to hit the parks easily. They offer boat and bus transfers along with easy walk to Epcot thru the back gate - we love this. Also, guest services can assist with tickets and anything needed. Our room was clean and quiet even though located near the pool area. Also a good value compared to onsite Disney hotels charging alot more. We believe this to be a good value for our family.

Wonderful place to stay! Great amenities!
Wasn’t sure what to expect, but was very quickly completely satisfied! From our room being ready shortly after a very early 9am arrival, to the various amenities, arcade, nice pools, Disney transportation options, etc. And the location was perfect. Plus all the benefits of a Disney Deluxe Resort! We go to Disney 2-4 times a year and I think we found our every time resort!
-
Exceptional location with easy access to the skyliner, walking distance to Epcot.
Great location in Disney, very nice resort. We took advantage of several restaurants at the boardwalk resort right next-door. We were able to walk to the Skyliner & Epcot. Transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is available by boat. The resort is very nice with several pools and lots of amenities. The rooms are standard hotel rooms. Don’t expect anything special in the room, but it was clean and comfortable and that’s all that matters.
