This was our third and possibly last time returning to this place. We loved it and booked it previously for our honeymoon. However since then, the rooms have appeared to been slightly neglected. Our patio lock was barely hanging on by one screw and there was mold in the bathroom. We experienced trouble with check in and with all of these issues Manager H. Salon was extremely unhelpful. She never addressed the mold or looked to solve the issues we experienced with check in. Front desk worker Sean Paul however was very kind and understanding.

Excellent verdant atmosphere, great location. You don't even need to leave the block for a variety of good food options, and bus stops are nearby. Yes, the buses are air-conditioned. My reservation came with a $20 credit for the Heyday restaurant but I was too busy to use it. I had a great check-in experience and a clean, nicely furnished room with good A/C and a little kitchenette type of area (no stove but there was a microwave, counter, and sink). The deadbolt on my door was misaligned but the regular lock worked fine, which was not a big deal for me but will be for others. The balconies are a mixed bag- some will face the garden courtyard & pool, others will face an alley. If you are not a night owl or party animal then you may want to make sure you're not located near the speakeasy when you check in, though I guess that depends on availability. I was very satisfied personally, especially at the budget price I paid, but it's not for everyone.

The service was exceptional. Sean Paul and RJ were the representatives here at the location. They were amazing. Over the top experience and service. This place needs to give them a raise. For God’s sake, thank you for making the stay accommodable and comfortable. 5 stars all the way

Best Stay Ever!!!
I love that the location is walking distance to the beach. I love how you can grab from the community pile of beach chairs and/or boards so you don't have to rent them at the beach. Their speakeasy Green Lady was a wonderful find to enjoy in the night time. I thoroughly appreciate the amenities offered at this location from the pool atmosphere to the koi pond to the breakfast options to the snacks to the drinks. The staff is immensely helpful and friendly. They are so accommodating and do everything they can to make one's stay enjoyable, relaxing and memorable. I highly appreciate the following staff, Sean Paul & Isaiah, as they went above and beyond in making my stay an absolute oasis. I'm so grateful for them being so welcoming as I would absolutely come back here just for their service alone. I strongly recommend anyone considering this boutique hotel as their ambience is such a delight & I believe you would have a beautifully great time.

White Sands, a convenient location in downtown Honolulu.
When traveling from our home on the Big Island to Honolulu for a visit we always stay at the White Sands hotel. The location in downtown Honolulu is within walking distance to restaurants, retail shops and Waikiki Beach. The rooms have been updated and have everything you may need. The check-in staff, especially RJ is always friendly and accommodating. The Tiki bar by the pool area is manned by Mason who is very personable and makes a good cocktail.
