Untrained staff ! Be very careful when choosing this hotel. That was not a 5 star hotel at all. And do not use their shuttle service because they work with Otium Tour who are professional scammers.

ZEL Punta Cana – My Honest Review
I waited until the end of my stay to give a truly honest review. From Day One, Bellman Louis made us feel welcome. After just a few minutes, we felt like we had known him forever. Amazing guy! The resort is clean, modern, and not overcrowded—perfect for relaxing. We had a few small issues with the coffee maker, refrigerator, and minibar, but after reporting them, everything was fixed and taken care of perfectly. I really appreciate that they listened instead of ignoring the problems. Restaurants & Staff Tacorini was okay, with a Mexican-Greek combination. Parda Buffet offers a good variety of food, although it could be better. Nokyo was always fun, and Volcan was very good. Mari and Jhoan were amazing and truly stole our hearts! Special thanks to Cristobal, the bar manager, Osvaldo and the security team, all the golf-cart drivers, and the wonderful team at Cafe de Finca. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Entertainment: There are activities every day and evening, including painting different items. Mr. Fish deserves special recognition. He works hard to make the entertainment fun and enjoyable. Great guy! The Rafael Nadal Tennis Court is a nice addition—bring your own racket or rent one. What Could Be Better? No resort is perfect, but ZEL came very close for us. What impressed me most was how they listened and fixed the problems. Because of the Rafael Nadal name, expectations are high, and I would like to see more kids' activities, more beach shade, and better beach service. Final Rating: Based on the improvements needed, I would give the resort 4 stars. But because of the hospitality, amazing employees, and how they handled every issue, I am giving ZEL Punta Cana 5 stars. The people are what make a resort unforgettable—and ZEL has some truly unforgettable people. ❤️

The drinks
First time going to the DR and not the last time after this experience. The bartender Pedro is the best! He made every drink perfectly. He clearly takes passion in what he does. He made us feel very welcomed with every encounter we had. Thank you Pedro!!
