We came to Zoetry Agua for my husband’s 60th birthday weekend and we’re totally blown away. This is now our absolute favorite resort. They go above and beyond in every way. The food and beverage staff is truly the “Dream Team” and our butler Jose worked closely with them to create the experience of a lifetime. Santiago is a fabulous sommelier who would meet us at dinner each night and make flawless wine recommendations that made every bite pop! He surprised us the second night by seating us in the wine cellar and taking care of us himself, and he is such a delightful man ❤️. He and Joel at Canoa are our two favorite people and combined with Chef Rodriguez (sp? He’s in the picture with the F&D manager and Santiago) this was the best birthday ever! Our butler Jose introduced us to the chef our last day and asked us which restaurant we were eating at that evening. My husband used to own a restaurant and loves a good chef. Chef cooked off-menu for a truly special multi-course birthday dinner celebration - I captured as much as I could in the pictures. The thought and care were EMP-worthy! We were wowed, delighted, and felt all the love and good vibes. The spa offers 20 minutes of complimentary massage (4 choices of what you want) and I loved my therapist Livia. I scheduled to come back 4 hours later for a 75 minute treatment. They have daily spa specials and you can combine them with other treatments to get everything you need - lovely staff! When we weren’t eating or being pampered, we found the resort to be gorgeous and lovingly maintained by the happiest staff in the DR! Everyone here seems to love their job and their guests. The F&D manager is everywhere checking to make sure things are 100% perfect. (Literally, he would just appear with a big smile - in the wine cellar, at the beach BBQ, pool pizza ovens!). He has the most lovely smile. The room and grounds are outstanding! We tried most of the pools and were in a private pool ocean front. Coffee on the terrace at sunrise is very special. We cannot wait to go back! Only caveat - use the bug spray they provide! The lush gardens are home to many birds and insects.

Zoëtry Punta Agua is really a paradise for people who look for luxury, peace, and warm hospitality
Our stay in Zoëtry Punta Agua was truly amazing - the best part of our whole vacation. From the first moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the calm and beautiful atmosphere of the resort, where the elegant rooms are perfectly connected with the tropical gardens. The quiet environment allowed us to relax completely, enjoy our privacy, and feel close to nature again. But what made this experience unforgettable was the kindness and sincere friendliness of the staff. We want to say a special thank you to Chamel, who welcomed us every morning at breakfast with such a bright smile and always started our day in a perfect way, and also to Diomedes, who took such good care of us and made everything easy and without stress. We really recommend this place a lot!

Beautiful tropical resort for a more quiet trip
Beautiful property and updated suites. Spacious rooms with nice amenities. Nice neutral decor. Comfortable beds. Nice cold air conditioning and a fan. Beautiful balcony view with a big sunbed on it. Spacious shower and tub. Loved the shower gel and shampoo and incense sticks in the room. Excellent food and variety of dining options. The only negative is the mosquitos on the beach.

Pampered Relaxation
The hotel is smaller than most hotels in Punta Cana offering guests intimate hospitality. We stayed for two weeks and that is a little long because the entertainment repeats weekly and there are limited restaurants for that long a stay (it became repetitive). I recommend a week to 10 days for any stay unless you do excursions to break it up. The service, spa, and food is what distinguishes the hotel from other all inclusive options and these are the reasons that we decided to return. There is very little to do in the evenings beyond dinner. The hotel could improve this with more options, including some interactive nights options like karaoke. This hotel is ideal for people looking for a quieter, relaxing, spa-like vacation . The rooms match this vibe - spacious and well spaced out from each other. Alejandro was our assigned butler and he gave us a tour of the premises and let us know how everything operated. He was so professional and he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted - daily laundry, spa appointments, special requests - he handled everything so that we didn’t have to think about it. Sari was so friendly and welcoming at the restaurant we favored. She always remembered our names and beverage preferences and she made us feel like family. Denny was one of the servers and remembered my daughter commenting one night that she loved sprouts. The next night, her salad was made with extra sprouts. So thoughtful! Santiago is the sommelier. He is very knowledgeable about the wines they offer and once he knows your preferences, he will make very good recommendations for the remainder of the week. He was never pushy (not that we need pushing to have wine), he was just there to help and talk about the wine if you want to learn more about it. All of the employees were wonderful and I can’t mention everyone that made our stay so memorable but the folks mentioned in this review went above and beyond and are why we felt so pampered and eager to return.

Nov 22, 2025Wonderful relaxing vacation at this quiet and wecoming resort.
We just had a delightful vacation at Zoetry in Punta Cana - our third visit. It is a delightful small hotel set by a wonderful beach and with lush greenery. The hotel is quite small but very personal. It is always very relaxing, comfortable and quiet without the noise and disturbance of big resorts.The staff have always been amazing - friendly and attentive. Leidi, Sory, Chamal, Henry, Merlyn and others were always great and their greeting of ‘welcome home’ rang true. We find Zoetry very relaxing and calm. The swimming pools, the gym and the spa are all excellent and we could walk safely for an hour or so along the beach, which runs along many bays. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable but still feeling like a beach resort rather than a business hotel. To be able to step out onto the beach is so easy and makes for a relaxing time. The slight downside is that with a smaller scale hotel the restaurants - although enjoyable and welcoming - provide a variety of foods but of average quality. Overall Zoetry is an amazing place for a quiet, relaxing vacation.
