Funjet Vacations efforts to support Maui and the State of Hawaii as they recover from the devastating effects of the Maui wildfires are in collaboration with the Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA). The tourism industry is critical to the livelihood of Hawaii's economy and residents, employing thousands each year across all the Hawaiian Islands. It is critical now more than ever to show support to the State of Hawaii, specifically Maui, as every visitor in the foreseeable future is helping to support the ability of affected communities like Lahania to rebuild.
Responsible travel to Maui is encouraged, and beginning October 8, 2023, the West Maui communities of Nāpili, Kāʻanapali, and Kapalua will fully reopen, with the exception of Lahaina. We encourage you to visit the Islands of Hawaii with compassion and the Spirit of Aloha in mind, supporting local businesses, volunteering, and donating to help communities and families recover.
