Which excursions will you pick?
Plenty of onsite fun can be found at your resort. But if you’re looking to mix things up and venture out for a day or two, Punta Cana provides some solid options. You can spend an afternoon interacting with friendly squirrel monkeys at Monkey Land (they’re sweet as can be – just like the fruit you’ll feed them). Or, for an educational pick-me-up, visit a coffee plantation and sample a fresh brewed cup, taste local cocoa and savor just-picked tropical fruit. But don’t indulge too much if you plan to do a zip line tour the same day, because it can be a wild ride. Other popular day trips include visiting the ancient Cayacoa coral caves, exploring Santa Domingo (the oldest city in the new world) or traveling to Samana, where you’ll find natural preserved wonders and relax on hidden beaches. We know, choosing between one incredible tour and another isn’t easy, but hey, someone’s got to do it.
